Everywhere is a learning environment: we declare the city to be the object under investigation and our training ground.

For the development of its Open Programme, USR will appropriate existing public open and closed spaces in Witten and Hattingen – whether in a park under a tree, around a table in a café or within a car park; in a shopping mall, an administration building, a waiting room or during a bus ride – the city and its spaces become the classroom.
